On August 29th, 11 Clovis High Key Club members attended Region Training Conference (RTC). This conference went on from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We began our day with the opening session. Later at each session, there were various workshops in which the members got to choose which one they wanted to go to; these workshops taught many things, whether it be how to serve a key club position, how to be a leader, or how to come up with new fundraising ideas. During lunch break, all the key clubbers were able to meet and interact with one another. This event was absolutely a great experience, especially for those who are thinking about running for an office position for the next term. "It taught me a lot of great information that I never would've came across. My favorite workshop was "Recruiting Members" because it gave me a lot of good ideas that I can contribute to my school club. It made me more excited for the new year!", says key club member, Marisa Chavez.
